Real Madrid: The three best starting XI’s that include Eden Hazard
By Amir Elrafie
RIGHT-WING
4-3-3 appears to be the tried and tested formation for Carlo Ancelotti this season, and it has been synonymous with Real Madrid for a relatively long time now.
It’s a formation that the players are comfortable and familiar with, and it also appears that Ancelotti views it as his primary formation for the remainder of the season.
When assessing the team’s structure, it’s pretty simple to identify the players who will be starting week in and week out. The likes of Karim Benzema, Thibaut Courtois, Casemiro, David Alaba, Toni Kroos, and Luka Modrić have all solidified their positions in the starting lineup.
However, one position that hasn’t been up for grabs at Real Madrid has been the right-wing spot. Ancelotti has yet to find a crucial starter for that position, and it could very well be a brilliant opportunity for Eden Hazard to take up the mantle of that role.
Despite naturally playing out on the left, playing out on the right could be an opportunity for him to return to the starting eleven as Vinícius Júnior has seemingly made the left-wing position his own this season. It could also be the case Hazard and Vinícius alternate flanks in-game should they need to.
A likely formation would be as follows:
Vinícius Benzema Hazard
Kroos Casemiro Modrić
Mendy Alaba Militão Carvajal
Courtois
