Real Madrid: 3 superstars Florentino Perez must regret not signing

NEYMAR
Neymar, formerly of Barcelona, has hurt Real Madrid on more than one occasion in El Clasicos with his twinkling feet and propensity to turn up on the biggest of nights during his time at Catalonia. During his four years at the Camp Nou, it is fair to say that the Brazilian was even more of a menace to Madrid than his current as well as former teammate, Lionel Messi.
The Paris Saint-Germain winger has been linked with Real Madrid in the past but a transfer never materialized despite there being a lot of talk about Neymar’s fandom for the Whites. He was even associated with a potential switch to the Santiago Bernabeu in his days at Santos, but such a switch never materialized and eventually, Neymar ended up playing with Paris Saint-Germain after the end of his Barcelona tenure.
A team with Neymar and Cristiano Ronaldo as its face would have been unstoppable and perhaps twice as successful as the side between 2016 to 2018 was. But nothing of that sort materialized and does not look like materializing now that Neymar is very happy at Barcelona in the company of his close friend Lionel Messi amongst others who have made PSG a force to reckon with.
