3 ways selling Eden Hazard would be of great help to Real Madrid
SAYING GOODBYE TO THE PAST FOR THE NEW GENERATION
Real Madrid are all set to head into a new era next season with the imminent signing of Kylian Mbappe from Paris Saint-Germain. The club is also closely following Erling Haaland and are one of the favourites to land the Borussia Dortmund striker next summer.
The 2022/23 season will mark the beginning of a new era at the club as legends and veterans like Gareth Bale, Isco, Marcelo are all expected to make their way. As part of the revamp and reshaping the squad into a younger side, Eden Hazard could most likely be part of the clean slate, especially if Kylian Mbappe joins the club in the summer.
At the end of the ongoing season, Eden Hazard will complete three full seasons at the Spanish capital. The Belgian has been given enough time to turn his situation around but the harsh knock-on effect from his major injuries continue to linger on in his career. With that being said, it is time to close Hazard’s chapter at the club for the benefit of the player and Real Madrid.
Eden Hazard’s departure would eventually free up the left-wing position that is currently occupied by Vinicius Jr. Once Hazard leaves, Mbappe and Vinicius can play on either side of the attack as per Carlo Ancelotti’s requirements while Karim Benzema – or possibly Erling Haaland – spearheads the frontline from the striker’s position.
