Eden Hazard

Although Eden Hazard is usually a left winger, the Belgian has transitioned into more of a central playmaking role. Injuries have taken away a lot of what made Hazard a special player, and he is no longer a viable option on the left wing for Real Madrid. Vinicius Junior is a superstar in his own right and has 100 percent taken over.

But Hazard could still be a useful player to Los Blancos. At the beginning of the season, Hazard was one of the most creative players in LaLiga in terms of key passes. He was phased out due to the lack of defensive stability, but if Carlo Ancelotti prioritizes goals against Cadiz, we could see Hazard in the XI and back in that free role.

Cadiz have one of the worst defenses in the league with 31 goals allowed, but, as we saw last year, this team is capable of sitting back and making life difficult on Real Madrid. If Ancelotti anticipates this being the case, he may sacrifice the defensive stability of Lucas Vazquez for the attacking prowess of Hazard.

Since Vazquez may be needed at right back, there is a real chance Hazard returns to the starting XI against Cadiz. And the Belgian would 100 percent have a point to prove. He did not end up building on his 10 minutes against Inter Milan during El Derbi last weekend, and many Madridistas still want to see Carletto include Hazard in his plans, even if many other fans believe the ship has well and truly sailed for the former Chelsea icon.
