Real Madrid have found two new superstars in the year 2021. Left winger Vinicius Junior has been one of the absolute best players in the world so far in the 2021-2022 season, even leading the team to victories on his own against the likes of Sevilla and Elche. And then center back Eder Militao has also been tremendous, even if he flies under the radar comparatively.

Who will be the breakout stars for Los Blancos in the year 2022? Let’s take a look at five talented youngsters who can find another level to their games in the coming calendar year. There are obviously more players on Madrid’s books who are capable, but let us just keep things to these five young men.

FW Brahim Diaz

Currently on loan at Milan, Brahim Diaz is showing more positive signs in his second season with the Rossoneri. Though he is not quite exploding, Brahim is impressing Madridistas and could be a nice rotation player in the squad for the 2022-2023 season. He may be more fit for this role than Marco Asensio, who is a couple of years his senior.

A fan-favorite, Brahim is one of those players who knows how to make incisive actions and is very good at winning the ball with his pressing. He brings skills to the table, such as two-footedness, that could benefit Real Madrid greatly in the future.

Clearly, the 22-year-old has upside and is not someone who should be sold. Brahim could make a leap in 2022. And he may need to in order to stay with Real Madrid for the long term.

So far this season, Brahim has four goals and four assists in all competitions. With more consistency in Serie A and more than 1.1 key passes per game in the future, Brahim could find his way on the Madrid first team.
