RODRYGO
In recent months, Rodrygo has not had his best time as a Real Madrid player which could potentially open the door to him leaving the club on loan or with a buy-back clause in his deal. The Brazilian is a menace down the left wing and centrally too, but his role at the club is a bit impeding given that he has successively been used on the right flank with just one goal scored this season.
While no doubt he is a bright youngster and has a long future ahead of him, Rodrygo still needs to brush up his positioning which can be helped by a stint at a team like Dortmund. He will play a lot regularly over there whilst also being a more key figure in the dressing room than he is at Madrid, who have an already inflated squad full of wingers who are in a healthy competition for places.
And amid all of this, Rodrygo is also likely to suffer a bigger loss of minutes next term. The likes of Marco Asensio, Vinicius Junior, and now perhaps even Eden Hazard seem to have overtaken him in the pecking order for the flanks, whereas the arrival of Kylian Mbappe and potentially Erling Haaland will only make his cause weaker and thwart him from the minutes which he gets right now.
