A more reassuring Kylian Mbappe transfer update for Real Madrid fans
Contrary to what Real Madrid fans were expecting, it’s way past January 1 and things regarding Kylian Mbappe are still very much up in the air. While there are always chances of him joining the club, there was a report quite recently about PSG becoming increasingly optimistic about a deal with Mbappe to stay at PSG for a short-term period.
While those reports may hold relevance still, there are a couple of new reports that talk about something else. They talk about Mbappe’s links to Real Madrid and how it is still very much likely that the Frenchman joins Real Madrid.
There is still reason to believe that Mbappe will be a Real Madrid player in June
I really, really think that after all that happened last summer, Mbappe – who is currently recovering from an injury that might keep him out for the game against Madrid – just wouldn’t want to stay there for any longer than he needs to. The things that happened must’ve given him an idea of what it would be like if he signs another contract. Apart from that of course, there are also other reports that suggest the same.
A report from MadridistaReal says that he loves PSG and will definitely give his all until the last day of his contract to try and win the Champions League with the French club. But after the contract ends, his next step is definitely a move to Real Madrid.
They’re not the only source that says more reassuring things about Mbappe and Real Madrid. Julien Laurens, a reporter from ESPN, spoke on Canal Supporters’ Twitch live stream that even though an offer from PSG is on the table, the chances of Mbappe making the move to Real Madrid are higher than the chances of him staying at PSG.
I think that if two of the most well-reputed sources are saying things like this, then it has to be something that calms the fans down a little bit. Mbappe is really, really important to the club’s future, and the club is trying its best to act on it.
It’s going to be a tough few months ahead because they’d have to compete with PSG for his signature but I think Real Madrid still have the upper hand over PSG. They’re still Mbappe’s dream club, and they want him to join as soon as possible, but they can’t really do anything apart from hoping that Mbappe sticks to his words from last summer and moves to Madrid in a blockbuster move this July.
