9. Ruben Dias

The Portuguese centre back has been a rock at the back for Manchester City ever since he arrived from Benfica. He has quickly established himself as one of the if not the best in his position in world football.  Put his age into the mix and he’s gold in the transfer market. Dias boasts exceptional maturity and on-ball prowess, making him a rare commodity at his position and age. Manchester City probably would have spent close to 100 million euros on him had he not been on their team already.

8. Joshua Kimmich

A name that you probably won’t see doing the rounds on social media too often, Joshua Kimmich’s capabilities often go unnoticed compared to the big stars. On pure technique, uniqueness, and versatility, however, not many can match up to the German. His ability to slot into multiple positions and excel at them is second to none. One of the most important players in one of the most successful teams in Europe, his value of 100 million euros needs no justification.

7. Florian Wirtz

Many would argue it’s a bit premature to have an 18-year-old Florian Wirtz on this list but the young German and his dribbling have been turning a lot of heads in the Bundesliga. He’s on track to finish the season with double digits goals and assists in all competitions.  His vision and technical precision would surely be luring clubs all around Europe. Having already gotten 80 million Euros for Kai Havertz amidst peak pandemic, Bayer Leverkusen will be looking to secure a much higher fee this time. It would not be a surprise if teams were willing to pay a little north of a 100 million euros.
