1. Bayern Munich
The team with the highest chances of winning the Champions League this season is the German Giant, FC Bayern Munich. Bayern has a lot of motivation especially because of Robert Lewandowski who was denied his first Ballon d’Or by Lionel Messi who in my opinion wasn’t a better candidate than the Polish goal-machine. Lewandowski would thus be eyeing redemption of all kinds and winning the most coveted club competition would be a big boost given his closest competition Karim Benzema will have good chances of winning something with France as well.
Like the stories are every season, Bayern hasn’t lost a single game this season in the group stages. The closest competitors to Bayern were Barcelona who is on a downfall of their own having been knocked out in the group stages itself and on course to play the Europa League playoffs against Napoli.
While Bayern too, hasn’t played against any big clubs, the quality within their ranks is enough to suggest that they’ll have no problems against more demanding oppositions in the later stages of the competition. They have the easiest Round of 16 draws against Salzburg and that further elevates their odds.

Bayern has scored 22 goals in their six group games while conceding only 3. In the Bundesliga, the number is 65 goals scored in 20 games and only 19 conceded. Every single thing about their team is functional, a magnificent squad, a great coach, a perfect balance between young and old. Their veterans in Robert Lewandowski and Thomas Muller are performing on the best possible level. Speedy wingers in the likes of Kinsley Coman and Leroy Sane, a brilliant partnership in midfield between Joshua Kimmich and Leon Goretzka, everyone looks to be in great touch.
In my opinion, at least, Bayern seems to be the most likely choice for winners of the Champions League in 2021-22.
