The expected length of Vinicius Jr.’s contract extension with Real Madrid
Real Madrid have big plans for the future. That includes signing new players and re-signing current players to contract extensions, especially the main ones. There are a few safe signings that Real Madrid should make this summer, but there are also players that Real Madrid must keep at any cost, and Vinicius Jr. is one of them.
In the past few months, Vinicius’ well-deserved contract extension has been a big topic of discussion among the masses. Vinicius Jr has said it himself that he wants to stay at Real Madrid for a very long time, and the contract would not be an issue at all.
According to Fabrizio Romano, everyone in the club approves the extension, and it will happen in the coming months.
Vinicius Junior’s expected deal with Real Madrid would run until 2027, according to Fabrizio Romano
This is a huge step by Real Madrid towards securing the future of the club. They already gave Fede Valverde a massive contract extension that runs until 2027, and they intend to do the same with Vinicius Jr., who is a cornerstone of this team. He’s not the only one either.
According to Jorge Picon of Goal Espana, Real Madrid want to renew both Vinicius Jr. and Eder Militao, even though their contracts expire in 2025 and 2024 respectively.
Talking about the man of the hour, though, Vinicius Junior needs no introduction. The man’s been on an absolute tear this season. There were reports of him being given the challenge of 25 goals for this season. It’s only February, but he’s already hit that mark. Last season, he had 10 overall. It’s insane how much he has improved, and I just know he’ll keep getting better every game and every season.
I honestly think Vinicius can hit 35 goal contributions this season if he’s able to remain fit and in top form. We all know that it’s a big if considering the whole situation of Carlo Ancelotti not rotating his line-ups enough, which results in a lot of fatigue, even on youngsters.
Vinicius Jr. is one of Real Madrid’s most important players, and keeping him around for another five years is a good sign of things to come, but of course, if Ancelotti is to stay as coach beyond this season, he’d have to find a way to give him and others enough rest.
