Replacing Carlo Ancelotti?

It is safe to say that Carlo Ancelotti has exceeded expectations since his return over the summer. However, his stint so far at the club has proven something: He is more of a “here and now” manager rather than one that can lead to a bright future. Lack of rotations, lack of ideas, and a hint of stubbornness have shown that he isn’t the right man to take up a project which is expected to be amped up in the summer.

We should be thankful for his decision to return and for what he has done so far but we also need to be realistic. Carlo Ancelotti is not the right man to have at the wheel, especially during such a vital time in the rebuild. Therefore, new options will need to be looked at and that needs to happen as soon as possible. One problem though: Who?

Mauricio Pochettino is possibly the most logical choice but the current Paris Saint-Germain manager may not make the move during this summer. If he leaves the French capital, many expect it to be for Manchester United. Also, would Real Madrid want to further anger the PSG board by going after their manager right after signing their best player for free?
