9. Valencia LB Jose Gaya
Yes, yes, another left back. Goncalo Guedes and Carlos Soler are the stars for the Bats, but Jose Gaya has long been a later and a key player at the back. Valencia would never sell a player of Gaya’s importance to Real Madrid, because he is a current icon for the club.
But Gaya is someone Madridistas have been eyeing for a while with those “What if?” questions. he is an all-arounder at left back and an absolute warrior. If Galan has a case for being the most complete left back in the league, then it is a case he must argue against Gaya.
The 26-year-old has two goals and three assists this season with nearly two tackles per game. He would not be out of place talent-wise in this Madrid side.
8. Athletic Bilbao CB Dani Vivian
If it is unlikely for Valencia to sell someone important to Real Madrid, then you had better believe an Athletic Bilbao player going to their “Viejo Clasico” rivals is just about impossible. But we can “dream”, right?
Bilbao’s class of prospects is downright scary. Oihan Sancet is already a star up top, and Nico Williams has serious potential. But I am going with the overlooked man here, Dani Vivian.
Center backs don’t get enough hype, and this 22-year-old center back is too underrated by the masses. Astute followers of LaLiga, though, know that this guy is the real deal and is going to be the next top-notch central defender to come out of Bilbao. Nothing gets by him, and he is so mature at the back.
