5. Real Betis AM Nabil Fekir

Real Betis are loaded with attacking talent, as ex-Real Madrid man Sergio Canales is a magician. But Nabil Fekir’s left foot is even more magical. He is one of the best overall players in LaLiga. You can make that case that he and Gerard Moreno are the two best players in the league behind Real’s superstar duo of Vinicius Jr. and Karim Benzema.

Fekir has six goals and six assists in LaLiga this season with 2.4 key passes per game, 2.5 dribbles completed per match, and 2.5 fouls drawn per contest. Those are incredible numbers and show you just how unplayable Fekir is. Nobody wants to go head-to-head with the ex-Lyon man. He is more than capable of winning matches on his own with a wild dribble or a dream strike.

While the ship has likely sailed on Real signing Fekir, he used to always be linked to the club. Both while with Betis and before that at Lyon. Real could use a more modern playmaker like Florian Wirtz, but I know there are some Madridistas who would not say no to Fekir. After all, they have a dearth of left-footed options.

4. Atletico Madrid FW Joao Felix

Real Madrid signing an Atletico Madrid player? Thibaut Courtois used to play there, but he was a loanee and bought from Chelsea. There probably isn’t a chance in hell that Real will have the chance to steal away this prized LaLiga left-footed, but Madridistas are well within their right to dream that a frustrated Felix pushes Atleti to sell…

Felix’s raw talent is not up for debate. His technical qualities and skill on the ball are delightful. Atletico Madrid’s playing style cannot make the best use of Felix’s abilities, but we do get to see glimpses of his elite potential for Los Rojiblancos.

Still just 22 years old, Felix is a creative player with good attacking instincts and that uncanny ability to draw loads and loads of fouls. There probably would not be a spot for him, but in a parallel universe, he is a Galactico.
