3. Barcelona CB Ronaldo Araujo

The other major rivals of Real Madrid, FC Barcelona are back on the rise under Xavi. Their veteran signings have worked out, and Ferran Torres is showing early returns as a big investment from Manchester City. There are so many talented young players on La Blaugrana, such as Pedri and Ansu Fati, who are two of the world’s most promising young players.

So there are a lot of players Real can dream of who would be untouchable to them. One player is Ronald Araujo, who is the most valuable defender on Barcelona. La Blaugrana know they have work to do with beefing up their defense, but Araujo is a player worth praising. Even Premier League clubs are attentive to his contract situation.

While Real Madrid have been linked, they will not meddle and upset Joan Laporta, who is an important ally to Florentino Perez in the larger European Super League scheme.

2. Sevilla CB Jules Kounde

With seven points between themselves and both Barcelona and Atletico Madrid, Julen Lopetegui’s side are still Real Madrid’s main title rivals despite being eight behind the Merengue club themselves. Sevilla have a deep squad at all levels, so there is not just one player who stands out as a possible target for Flo and Co.

Unlike the case with Pau Torres on Villarreal, I will not snub a top young center back often linked to Real Madrid. I will not go with a forward like Lucas Ocmpos and will instead stick with Jules Kounde, who is having another solid season.

Kounde is one of the best central defenders in LaLiga, and while the hype is not as strong, he is still very much worthy of being linked to clubs like Los Blancos and Chelsea. A composed player on the ball and one of the most intelligent young defenders you will find, Kounde can also play at right back, though he is not really a solution for that all-important need in Madrid.

While some Madridistas may have forgotten about Kounde as a target, the Sevilla youngster is still the dream get as the third center back. Price, of course, remains a concern, as Sevilla know what they have in the player.
