If there is any player or team that is generating the most buzz regarding a potential transfer, it is the yet-to-be-completed transfer of Paris Saint-Germain and France superstar Kylian Mbappé to Real Madrid. The 23-year old’s contract with the Ligue 1 side expires in the summer.
According to information provided by Spanish daily Vozpópuli , the Frenchman has already signed the pre-contract for Real Madrid.
Even though these news reports need to be taken with a grain of salt, Vozpópuli seem to have a good track record. They were the first news outlet to break a lot of news regarding the European Super League and the progress of the reconstruction of the Santiago Bernabéu.
Kylian Mbappé has his eyes set on Real Madrid regardless of PSG’s attempts
If the reports are indeed true, then it seems that PSG’s attempts to lure Mbappé into signing a brand-new, mega contract with Les Parisiens have borne no fruit after all. In the past few weeks, it was reported that Kylian Mbappé was offered a bumper offer of €50 million every season, making him the highest-paid player in the world. This offer was followed by PSG offering Mbappé a blank cheque and promises regarding a concrete sporting project.
However, Mbappé turned down those offers without any hesitation. Even Real Madrid president Florentino Pérez believes that Mbappé is a done deal. It can be all but confirmed that the feeling between the player and the club is mutual, and that nothing can stop Mbappé from becoming a Real Madrid player come July.
Amidst all this saga, there were multiple reports that stated that Kylian Mbappé will make his decision only after the 2nd leg of the UEFA Champions League Round of 16 clash against Real Madrid.
With reports coming out that Mbappé has already signed the pre-contract deal with Los Blancos before the decisive 2nd leg, it can be a big blow to Nasser El-Khelaifi and crew. They will know that the result of the knockout tie is of minimal importance to the Frenchman, and that he sees only one future: him donning the Royal White of Real Madrid next season.
