Following one of the greatest games for Real Madrid in recent years, it is indeed a time to rejoice and celebrate. Emotions are at an all-time high, there are tears of joy in our eyes, and a feeling of utter happiness fills up the heart of every single Madridista all around the globe. And all that is very well justified, given that the team overcame what can be called a gargantuan obstacle and are now on the journey to possibly secure their fourteenth Champions League title.

While we revel in the celebration of the alluring victory over the Parisians, the team has to make sure that these emotions should not get the best of them. And most importantly, it is the manager Carlo Ancelotti who has a few tough months ahead of him.

Here, we look at the three most important objectives for Real Madrid that they need to focus on before the 2021-22 season ends.

Player rotations to secure La Liga and make a serious run for the Champions League

The Spanish giants boast one of the most amazing rosters of players, featuring professionals of sheer brilliance and world-class caliber. The players that sit out the games on the bench at the Spanish capital are quality enough to win games on their own.

However, their utility and talents have been going to waste in the last couple of months, as we have seen the Italian manager being rather rigid with his starting lineups. Seldom do we see a change in the lists that appear in front of our eyes every week, and it is indeed a worry for the club if they truly want to win trophies.

Hence, the major aim is that the management and the coach should try to include all these players in the games, exploit the talents of players like Eden Hazard, Isco, Gareth Bale, Dani Ceballos, Camavinga, Jovic, Rodrygo. Even Fede Valverde hasn’t featured all that often apart from when there are injuries in the midfield.

Given that we have a rather comfortable 8-point cushion on the top of the table, we can surely let our biggest players have some much-needed rest. The club needs to keep them fresh for the big games, now that it has a chance to grab the UCL along with the league title. And the rotational players did a very good job against PSG this week. It is high time the manager shows some confidence in them. That is why a careful and smart rotation policy is something the team can benefit from a lot.
