The atmosphere was seen to be highly tense since Zinedine Zidane’s second exit from Real Madrid following a hard-fought but insufficient season. Be it those who backed the French manager or others who lambasted his dull style of play, everyone was eager and scared to learn who would be the next man in charge of the greatest club in the world.

Several candidates were reviewed and discussed, but the figure that stood out the most was none other than Carlo Ancelotti, the driving force behind La Decima. The Italian manager was mostly hailed on his return to Real Madrid, with the characteristics deriving from all the nostalgia. And, certainly, Ancelotti lived up to the expectations, as he and his team were swift to remodel Real Madrid’s offence, which was severely lacking under Zidane.

But, like with many positives, Ancelotti had a lingering downside. He undoubtedly revitalised the clan and transformed the likes of Vinicius Jr. and others, but he also brought with him a slew of other elements that have now called the manager’s employment into question.

It’s not that Ancelotti’s season is a disaster, but it’s also not the greatest; in fact, it’s a long way from what Real Madrid might do with all of their existing talent.

However, concerns about the manager’s methods were still seething when the loopholes first became apparent, and the unexpected departure of Copa Del Rey broke the first rail of wrath, which has yet to calm.

For the time being, the season has not yet concluded, and things might go either way, with more silverware, most notably the league title, being the most likely outcome. Such occurrences will be critical in determining Ancelotti’s future with the club next season.

Whether he stays or departs will be determined later in the year, but we have you covered on one hand. In this post, we examine the pros and cons of Carlo Ancelotti staying at Real Madrid for the next season.
