Real Madrid receive reassuring medical reports regarding Erling Haaland

The rumour mill seems to be intensifying with every passing second. It is expected that Erling Haaland will be making the decision about his future very soon. Real Madrid are one of the teams in the running to capture the Norwegian superstar’s services.

As good as Erling Haaland is, his recent tryst with injuries has those at Real Madrid concerned about his body and whether he can sustain himself without being injured for large stretches of a season.

According to Transfermarkt, Haaland has suffered an injury eight times since the start of the 2020-21 season, missing 27 games. He has been out on the sidelines four times this season, missing 17 games, which is 7 more than he missed in the entire 2020-21 season.

Spanish journalist Ramón Álvarez de Mon posted a video on his YouTube channel on Wednesday where he discussed the latest information to emerge regarding the future of Erling Haaland.

Real Madrid should not feel signing Erling Haaland is a risk

Real Madrid seemed to have received medical reports regarding Haaland, and the results are positive. At a time when a lot is being said about Haaland’s fragile fitness this season, these reports (if they are true) should give Los Blancos a huge relief.

It’s easy to forget that Haaland is just 21 years of age. Although the concerns at the club are valid and justified, it is also too early to come to a conclusion regarding a player with a ceiling as high as Haaland’s. He is an absolute monster in the sense that he looks out after his body very well. Maybe he is just having a bad season in terms of fitness. He is just a human after all.
