Ferran Torres

In his last eight games, the big signing of the January window from Manchester City has four goals and two assists, helping the Blaugrana to six wins and two draws in all competition.

He has capitalized from the penalty spot and been lethal finishing in and around the penalty area. It hasn’t taken Torres much time to settle into the new environment and he looks right at home back in Spain.

Torres has been a regular under Xavi and will cause Real Madrid problems on both the counter-attack and in the build-up. Torres was a target of Real Madrid for some time as the club reportedly tried to sign the young talent on four separate occasions.

He will be motivated to make an impact when facing Los Blancos after a quiet showing in the Supercopa despite being on the pitch for just 46 minutes. Will he be allowed the freedom to float into the free spaces in the Real Madrid formation? Or will he be tasked with challenging Dani Carvajal down the outside?

Carvajal has had a couple of poor showings in recent weeks and has been guilty of conceding a couple of poor penalties. Torres could take advantage of the fellow Spaniard should Carlo Ancelotti choose to start him, or we could see another Lucas Vazquez cameo.
