Real Madrid Castilla RW Peter Federico Gonzalez:

Peter Federico Gonzalez is the player of the future. Despite being 19 years old, the Spaniard is playing some great football. Peter is a versatile winger who has played at different positions (LW, LM, RM, RW). He is a fantastic dribbler who has the ability to create spaces in difficult circumstances.

Gareth Bale looks to leave the club this summer, with Kylian Mbappe as his replacement. Plenty of talks surrounding the departure of Eden Hazard, Marco Asensio, and Mariano Diaz will leave some empty spots in the squad to fill. There have been plenty of rumours recently surrounding the return of Brahim Diaz and Takefusa Kubo, but I think Peter will be the winner for the spot.

Brahim Diaz is no doubt one of the best youngsters in the world and his form in Serie A has been very impressive. He has scored 4 goals with 4 assists for AC Milan this season, compared to his 7 goals and 3 assists last season. Take Kubo is no less of a baller. Despite a poor season for Mallorca so far with 1 goal, Kubo has been directly involved in 14 goals.

Both the youngsters are getting a lot of minutes, but I don’t think Real Madrid will prefer the two over Peter. Just like Peter, the two are very versatile and can play in many different positions. But they are not as quick as Peter.

Kubo and Brahim cannot run errands or trackback to help defensively. On the contrary, Peter offers a high work rate and helps the defenders. It is the problem that managers have with Marco Asensio, and it will continue with Brahim and Kubo. So, I believe that Peter has an edge over the two youngsters.

Apart from that, Peter Federico Gonzalez made his first-team debut in December and showed a lot of promising signs. He injected some energy into the team and almost got his first assist if it wasn’t for Luka Jovic to miss that chance. Overall, I believe that Peter should be promoted to the first team next season.
