Real Madrid Transfers: 3 players who could be loaned in 2022
CM Antonio Blanco
The final player on this list of three is not nearly as big of a name as Eden Hazard or even Rodrygo Goes, but he could be important to Real Madrid’s future. Even as Los Blancos are looking into Aurelien Tchouameni in 2022 and Jude Bellingham in 2023 as legitimate blockbuster transfers in midfield, Antonio Blanco sits as a player who can be important to the squad rotation one day.
That “day” may come in 2022/23, especially if Madridistas have their way. Many fans have been clamoring for Blanco to get minutes and are frustrated with Carlo Ancelotti for not helping some of the Castilla standouts expand on their promising displays in the second half of the 2020/21 campaign under Zinedine Zidane.
Blanco shined, particularly in a clean sheet win over Cadiz, with his composure and classy passing. He looks like a player who could be starting for a team in LaLiga already, and that opportunity may come in 2022/23 if Real Madrid do not provide the young man with a clear plan or path to first-team minutes in the upcoming season.
Simply put, Blanco cannot waste another year of his career. He is too good and should be contributing to a first team. The idea of starting in LaLiga may appeal to him, and he seems like a confident player who will want that challenge, as opposed to sitting around. If Real Madrid sign Tchouameni, then Blanco’s loan may very well be sealed. After all, the brilliant acquisition of Eduardo Camavinga already relegated Blanco to staying in Castilla, at least in Carlo’s eyes.

Blanco is a player who can either earn his way into a significant rotational role for Madrid in 2023/24 with a strong loan, or he can be the next standout, like Sergio Reguilon, to be sold for a big fee.
