2. Vinicius Jr.

If I had told you last season that Vinicius Jr would be one of Real Madrid’s best players in the 2021/22 season, I would have been brutally trolled. What a season for this young man! Many expected the Brazilian prodigy to be a failure of a signing, yet he has risen from the ashes and bewildered many.

However, if we’re being honest, Vinicius was never a bad signing. It was only a lack of a tangible end product, the key to which the winger appears to have discovered. The goals and assists are finally flowing in, as are the well-deserved accolades for the youth.

Vinicius has finally made his mark on the Real Madrid scoreboard, with 17 goals and 13 assists in 46 games. The left-winger averages 2.3 shots per game, which come after spectacular carries and dribbles down the flank while taking on multiple players at once.

His partnership with Karim Benzema has turned out to be one of the most successful duos in the world this season, dropping masterclasses on a regular basis and saving Real from disgrace on multiple occasions.

On a secondary note to the aforementioned material value, Vini’s enthusiasm, love, and loyalty for the club have made him a fan favourite and helped him rise to become the team’s second-best player this season so far.
