Real Madrid won’t need to sign a forward to supplement the incoming addition of Kylian Mbappe any time soon, but it would be wise for them to continue to monitor the best young talents in the world. In a few years, Madrid may have to replace the legendary Karim Benzema, and while Erling Haaland is a natural signing to make with a reported 150 million euro release clause, Los Blancos would do well to keep multiple options open.

Haaland’s Dortmund teammate Youssoufa Moukoko is one possible option, but Palmeiras’ Endrick may be an even more attractive attacking option to the Merengues when it comes to prospects with the potential to be superstars.

As expected, Endrick has signed his first professional contract with Palmeiras after dazzling with the youth sides, most memorably with this bicycle kick goal.

Endrick would now cost Real Madrid 60 million euros

Per Fabrizio Romano, Endrick’s deal with Palmeiras includes a release clause of 60 million euros. That is a hefty fee to pay in the future for the young player, but if he develops as is expected, he could very well be worth that. Or Real or another club could negotiate for a fee closer to the 40-50 million euros the Merengues paid for Vinicius Jr. and Rodrygo Goes.

Endrick’s release clause is about in line with what Madrid reporters told Madridistas to expect, though fans were likely hoping for the clause to not be so high.

Real Madrid aren’t the only team interested in Endrick among Europe’s elite, but he has winked at them so many times that they are the favored destination. If they want him when the time comes, he could very well join Vini and Rodrygo as the next touted young Brazilian forward at the Santiago Bernabeu.

So far, Vini and Rodrygo have worked out excellently for the Merengues, with Rodrygo scoring vital Champions League knockout goals and Vini Jr. standing out as a Ballon d’Or candidate. Their successes mean Madridistas will take Endrick very seriously as a Juni Calafat transfer target if the scout were to advocate Florentino Perez to sign him.
