Real Madrid to win

“Real Madrid do not lose finals” is a saying we have seen so many times in recent years. Obviously, they have lost finals in the past but recently, Los Merengues have always been able to get the job done when they make it to the final game of the season. Even though it doesn’t mean anything for this final, it’s worth noting that the last Champions League final Real Madrid took part in, it ended in victory against Liverpool. Los Blancos also were successful in knocking the English side out of the competition last year.

Madridistas have known this for years but this season, the football world witnessed how the club is a completely different team when it comes to this competition. Real Madrid consider this as ‘their tournament’ and have always found ways to go above and beyond all expectations to get the job done. After all, this is the only team to win the UEFA Champions League twice in a row before yet again doing what is considered impossible and winning it for a third consecutive time, which is something that is surprisingly not spoken about as much as it should be.

The 13-time winners know what it takes to get to the finish line and expect to see them fight to the death once again on May 28. It’s hard to see them not winning the game, with no disrespect to the deserved finalists in Liverpool who can easily be considered one of the best in Europe.

Regardless of the outcome, we are about to witness a historical night and one that will surely be remembered for time to come. A well organized and strong Liverpool side will go against a Real Madrid side who know the secrets of the trade and boast the most in-form striker in football. There will be chaos but there will also be entertainment. Let’s just hope that it ends in our favor.
