The last few days have been very happening in the world of transfers, with Real Madrid Femenino on the prowl for multiple players. The goal at the club is very clear: to sign players that can reinforce the squad immediately and also secure the next five years at the least.
According to MARCA’s David Menayo, Kathellen Sousa, Sandie Toletti, and Naomie Feller will be the ‘first’ additions to Las Blancas’ roster ahead of the 2022-23 season.
Kathellen Sousa is one of the tallest women centre-backs in the world at nearly six feet tall. Currently playing for Inter Milan, the Brazilian was already on the radar of CD TACÓN (as Real Madrid Femenino was known in its first season) in 2019, but they couldn’t reach an agreement. The 26-year-old now seems destined to wear white and reinforce the backline following the retirement of Babett Peter. She will arrive on a free transfer.
Sandie Toletti is a world-class free signing for Real Madrid
Sandie Toletti of Levante already had a pre-agreement in place with Real Madrid Femenino, subject to qualification in the UWCL. Now that Las Blancas have booked a place in the competition, we can expect the paperwork to be signed and the player to be presented as the latest addition to an already exciting team.
Her physicality, vision, and versatility make the Frenchwoman one of the most unique midfielders in Primera Iberdrola. She already has seven assists to her name in the league this season. Her arrival is surely going to help Las Blancas as she is someone with experience, talent, and is familiar with the league. Toletti will arrive for free as her contract with Levante expires.
Naomie Feller is a promising 20-year-old French forward who plies her trade for Stade de Reims in France. The wunderkind has been touted by UEFA as one of the players to watch in 2022. Although she hasn’t scored many goals this season, her menacing speed and ability to play in different positions in attack are certainly appetizing enough for Real Madrid Femenino.
