Real Madrid fans have been on edge regarding the Kylian Mbappe transfer rumors, with the saga reaching a crescendo after the PSG superstar made some cryptic comments at Sunday’s UNFP awards ceremony.

There is a lot of smoke linking the Ligue 1 Player of the Year winner to Real Madrid, including reports that he has agreed to personal terms with Los Blancos. But this is all nothing new. It is akin to what Madridistas have heard for months, and so they have tuned out many of the rumors.

If you were waiting for clarity on when exactly Mbappe will make his decision known, then you have your answer.

Kylian Mbappe will reveal his transfer decision Sunday at 11:00 CET at the latest

According to a report from L’Equipe and confirmed by RMC Sport, Kylian Mbappe will make his transfer decision known to the world during a televised interview on French outlet Telefoot this Sunday at 11 a.m. CET.

But he could also make the decision on Saturday. At any rate, the decision will come this weekend. And if it doesn’t, I won’t bother writing any news about Mbappe’s transfer saga again because we are all very, very tired.

PSG will face Metz on Saturday in their final match of Ligue 1, and then on the next day, it seems that Mbappe will make his decision.

With all the twists and turns of the saga, I do not know who to believe anymore, so even this, I am taking with a grain of salt. But it seems hard to fake a televised interview announcement or release phony info on this, reported by some of France’s biggest outlets. So it does seem like the story will be done with by the end of the weekend.

Of course, Real Madrid and their fans should be most concerned with May 28. That is when Real Madrid will face Liverpool in Paris for the Champions League Final. They eliminated PSG and Mbappe and have gotten to the pinnacle of football without the No. 7. And so all eyes will be on Karim Benzema and Co. as they look to win the 14th European Championship in the club’s storied history.

But if Mbappe announces that he is going to Madrid on the Sunday before a title win, then that would be the icing on the cake of a dream week.
