Everton LW Richarlison

Richarlison is a name that has been frequently linked to Real Madrid, ever since Carlo Ancelotti became Real Madrid’s manager. The Brazilian winger has been linked with a move away from Everton this summer, but Real Madrid shouldn’t look to sign him.

The club already has three natural left-wingers in their squad for the next season, in the form of Vinicius, Rodrygo, and Eden Hazard. They shouldn’t look to overload the team with left-wingers by signing Richarlison, who isn’t a consistent goalscorer and won’t come any cheap.

Benfica CF Darwin Nunez

Darwin Nunez is a name that’s doing the rounds on social media, with several fans asking for the Uruguayan’s signing and MARCA linking the striker to Real Madrid. The Benfica striker has been on fire this season, scoring 34 goals in 41 appearances for the club, and has attracted interest from Premier League clubs like Liverpool and Manchester United.

Real Madrid does need a backup for Karim Benzema, but I don’t think Nunez is the answer to that search for a second-choice striker. He is a highly physical player and a fantastic finisher, but his game with the ball at his feet is disappointing. A goalscorer is what Real Madrid needs, but the club also need a well-rounded striker. And I don’t think it is worth paying the 75-80 million euros that Benfica is asking for Nunez, to fill in a backup position.
