Real Madrid may be able to start bidding for top RW target soon

With the Champions League and La Liga in Real Madrid’s bag, Los Blancos produced a season for the ages. Regardless, there are some positions that need a heavy upgrade, the RW being one of those positions. Rodrygo is not ready to assume an undisputed role just yet, and Marco Asensio cannot be relied upon owing to his flaky performances week in and week out.

With Mbappe out of the running, Serge Gnabry is the ideal RW target for Real Madrid. His versatility is a critical asset, priming him to assume any role in the front three. He’s consistent and good with both feet, but it’s his movement off-the-ball that separates him from most wingers across Europe.

He consistently gets into treacherous positions and being aided by the likes of Modric, Kroos, and Benzema will make him downright menacing. A Vinicius-Benzema-Gnabry trio has all the potential in the world to become the best front line in Europe.

In Bundesliga this season, Gnabry accounts for 14 goals and five assists in 25 starts. These numbers are not bad at all, but far from what he’s capable of producing.

Serge Gnabry’s contract situation at Bayern Munich is up in the air

Earlier, it was reported that Gnabry had not responded to Bayern’s offer, an offer up to 19 million euros a year.

Now, Bild reports that he has rejected the offer, while the club’s decision-makers have no intention to improve their proposal. No further talks are in line as of now.

Real Madrid has a lucrative opportunity presented right in front of them, and there might never be a better time to go for Serge Gnabry.

However, with him turning down a 19 million/year contract, Real Madrid will have to break the bank for the German. Regardless, he’s a player worth breaking the bank for.
