There are a number of Castilla players who could take their games to the next level, such as striker Juanmi Latasa or left back Miguel Gutierrez. But Gutierrez is probably going to go on loan, while Latasa only played a couple of minutes for the first team last season.

Peter Federico is a young man Real Madrid fans should not forget about. The left-footed right winger could push for minutes in a role where there may be no competition. Marco Asensio will likely be sold, and that would leave Real without a left-footer in that position, given Gareth Bale has already left as a free agent.

An electrifying cameo off the bench against Athletic Bilbao was followed up by another promising display in the Copa del Rey, but because Real Madrid were in such a battle to win all the gold, Carlo Ancelotti could not find low-stakes spots for Peter.

Perhaps in 2022/23, Peter will get some more chances that he can cash in on. Real Madrid need to give their wingers every chance to compete and show they can shine, and Peter is a player Madridistas are high on. They want to see Peter get a shot and show what he can do. He has high upside and brings qualities on the ball that not many players in Spanish football can. Out of all the Castilla players, he is the one with the true breakout potential in 2022/23.
