ST Cristiano Ronaldo

The unlikeliest of all options.

Now, as I mentioned at the start of the article, I may not agree with all the choices in this article, but it doesn’t mean there is absolutely no possibility of this happening.

Think about it, though, one last dance, Ronaldo at Real Madrid with prime Karim Benzema and Vinicius Jr. Who says no?

It’s me. I say no.

Ronaldo has formally asked Manchester United to let him leave this summer, because he does not feel there is a lot of ambition at the club. He’s in his final couple of years as a top-level footballer, and he needs one last move to be able to compete for trophies.

Real Madrid need a third scorer, and Ronaldo, at the very least, provides you with goals. Besides, there aren’t a lot of suitors for Ronaldo at the moment. He probably won’t go back to Italy this soon, PSG or Bayern won’t sign him. Chelsea might, but who knows at this point?

Real Madrid will probably not go for him, because Perez doesn’t really want him at the club now, but you’d be lying if you said there isn’t the slightest opportunity that the club actually considers this as an option for one season.

But, it shouldn’t happen, not right now. The ship has sailed. It’s much better for the club to pass on this opportunity. Gnabry would be a much better choice, both from a sporting and financial sense.

Next. Real Madrid have what it takes to win the Champions League again. dark

I really think that all these transfers are unlikely, judging by how passive Real Madrid have been of late, but players would only join if there are more sales, and if Asensio and Ceballos leave, Real could genuinely consider signing a Gnabry or a Fran Garcia. Maybe not Ronaldo, though.
