Chelsea show interest in a player that is perfect for Real Madrid

I think we all know by now that Real Madrid are not going to spend money just for the sake of spending money, but I think there are a bunch of players that would still be great for Real Madrid, which is why they should at least sign a couple of them, because they do have the money.

The Kylian Mbappe War Chest has been used for two signings till now: Antonio Rudiger, which was a free transfer, and Aurelien Tchouameni, who was signed for 80 million euros, plus add-ons.

Now, Real Madrid are also trying to sell Marco Asensio. I don’t understand what their plans are for the right-wing position. Do they just use Fede Valverde and Rodrygo there? Do they actually sign a player if Asensio leaves? Do they promote someone from Castilla?

I know what they should do: They should sign a player that is available for reportedly 40 million to 50 million euros. That player would be perfect for Real’s third forward spot, and his name is Serge Gnabry.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea are interested in signing Serge Gnabry. He did not mention Real Madrid’s name among those interested in signing the German, which is driving me mad right now.

Serge Gnabry gives Real Madrid more production than any winger on the team bar Vinicius Jr.

Rodrygo Goes is supposed to improve in the next few seasons. That is a fact and we know it’ll happen at some point. But, until that happens, what do we do? What if Rodrygo has yet another season in which he’s great off the bench, but is not able to transform into that player when he starts?

What happens when we realise Fede Valverde is not an actual winger, and that he can only be used in certain games against certain oppositions? What if Sergio Arribas is promoted to the first team but has growing pains?

Serge Gnabry would be so good for Real Madrid. He has more goal contributions than any winger not named Vinicius Jr., and he has a lot of experience, having played for a team like Bayern for this long. Gnabry also has German ties with Toni Kroos and Antonio Rudiger, and had David Alaba as a teammate before as well. I don’t understand how it’s not an obvious move for Real Madrid.

Besides, it’ll give Rodrygo the perfect blueprint to build his game even further. Gnabry is a right-footed right-winger, and so is Rodrygo. If the Brazilian learns from the German, doesn’t everyone win? Rodrygo would still be a young player when Gnabry enters his 30s, and even before, it’s not like Gnabry is going to play every single game.

Real Madrid need to do something about this before Chelsea go in and sign Gnabry for a fee we all know Real Madrid can afford.
