The player in question is none other than German sharpshooter Toni Kroos, who stated in a new conversation with Marca:
"I’ve been at Real Madrid for eight years and there was closeness from day one. I have an excellent relationship with the club, I’ve grown very fond of it. The president, the team, the fans… so I won’t leave either”"
Toni Kroos has been one of Real Madrid’s greatest players for the previous 8 (pun intended) years and has received numerous accolades with the club.
At a time when several of Los Blancos’ icons have left for other clubs, this statement from Kroos must come as a big comfort to fans who had grown more doubtful of the German’s future at the club after he reportedly turned down a contract renewal offer from the club.
