1. Luka Modric only gets better with age

What can’t the brilliant Croatian do?

Yet again, Luka Modric dazzled fans to the point of earning praise from the opposing fans. As one fan said on Twitter, it seems that Modric is on a standing ovation tour! In what could be his final season with Real Madrid, Modric continues to boss games and show his quality.

Modric completed 90 percent of his passes, totaled 100 touches in 80 minutes, and again scored a brilliant goal with the outside of his boot. It’s hard to believe that Modric has been a regular in the midfield for nearly a decade with the way he has performed.

When Luka gives way to the likes of Eduardo Camavinga or Dani Ceballos, the result is usually already in hand. The Croatian plays like he has never won a Champions League title despite hoisting the trophy five times!

With a veteran presence like his through the middle of the park, Real Madrid will dictate play and win matches.
