On the other hand, a player who suffered an injury scare at Celtic Park is Eder Militao. The Brazilian started the game at centre-back but appeared to struggle a bit against the physicality of Giorgos Giakoumakis.
Militao was ultimately replaced by Antonio Rudiger at the break. It was not a tactical change but instead a result of an injury scare suffered by the Brazilian.
As tweeted out by Miguel Angel Diaz, Militao has undergone an ultrasound that shows no injury to the hamstrings of his left leg and is set to undergo an MRI as well. It is most likely that he will rest against Mallorca.

There is no question about the fact that Militao is a very important part of this team and has been successful in establishing himself as a regular starter under the management of Carlo Ancelotti.
Thus, while Real Madrid might have some very capable cover in the form of Rudiger, they would surely want to see Militao remain fit throughout the course of the season.
Thus, the best step is not to risk an injury and rest him in the next game. Unfortunately, they do not have similar depth at striker, and in Benzema’s absence, Ancelotti will have to come up with innovative ways to fulfil his place up front.
