Real Madrid have done a remarkable job this season till now, winning all of their games. Yes, many people will point out that they have not beaten any big team yet, but they have done what is within their power and that is defeat everyone that has been put in front of them. Also, Real Betis are a very solid team at this point of time.

Their biggest worry at the moment though is their quickly growing list of injuries. On top of that, Real Madrid do not have the greatest depth on their bench either, which could prove to be an issue throughout the course of the season.

Karim Benzema and Eder Militao, two first team regulars, got injured against Celtic. Now, they are in a race against time to be fit for the derby against Atletico Madrid. On the other hand, Lucas Vazquez picked up an injury in the weekend’s La Liga game against Mallorca. And Alvaro Odriozola has already been struggling with a knock.

As reported by Marca, Real Madrid will be without the four players – Benzema, Vazquez, Militao and Odriozola – in the game against RB Leipzig.

Real Madrid will be without four players vs RB Leipzig

It goes without saying that the situation is far from ideal for Real Madrid. They do not have the best depth from the beginning and are now without a few of their very important players as well.

On the other hand, RB Leipzig seem to be undergoing a resurgence as well after bringing in Marco Rose as their new manager. A poor start to the season led to Domenico Tedesco being sacked, after the 4-1 defeat against Shakhtar Donetsk.

Thus, it will be very interesting to see which version of RB Leipzig will show up against Real Madrid. The one that was struggling badly. Or the one that beat Borussia Dortmund 3-0 at the weekend.
