Real Madrid were not very active in the recent summer transfer window. Yet, they did complete two big moves, for Aurelien Tchouameni and Antonio Rudiger. Both have been excellent since coming in and appear to have improved Carlo Ancelotti’s Champions League-winning squad somehow.
Tchouameni became one of the most expensive signings in Real Madrid history but he is already delivering on the pitch as it looks like it was money well spent for Los Blancos. If he can produce these performances on the long-term, he will be one of the best midfielders in the world one day.
Even more interesting was the move for Antonio Rudiger though. He was one of the best defenders in the world at Chelsea already and joined Real Madrid on a free transfer this summer. And after a rocky start, he is now making his presence felt in Spain.
Real Madrid signed another one of the world’s best defenders last summer on a free in the form of David Alaba. And it looks like next summer, they could be looking to make it three out of three.
Real Madrid are plotting move for Inter Milan superstar
As reported by Football Insider, Real Madrid are ready to beat Tottenham Hotspur to the signing of Inter Milan defender Milan Skriniar.
Skriniar’s current deal with Inter Milan runs out next summer and if they are unable to agree a new deal, he will be available as a free agent. This summer, he was heavily linked with a move to PSG but rumours suggest that the Italian giants rejected offers for him.
If Los Blancos are able to sign Skriniar on a free transfer, having already brought in Alaba and Rudiger on similar deals, it would be absolutely out of this world and prove once again why they are so successful.
