1. Real Madrid CF

After seeing how last season played out, you wouldn’t want to knock Real Madrid down. They never missed an opportunity to brush Real aside, they never paid regard to the Bernabeu’s marvels, they demeaned the grandeur of this revered club with the stamp of luck, but in the end, Real Madrid went on to win the 14th Champions League in style.

Last season’s run was undoubtedly the most difficult of all, as Real battled every single team considered the favourite to win the tournament, but nothing could stop the Kings of Europe from taking what is rightfully theirs.

This prestigious club’s tradition is deeply rooted in its history, and only a few years ago, this very club dominated Europe for three consecutive seasons, winning this competition time and time again, proving that replicating the past is not at all ruled out.

Despite winning it all just last season, the club, as well as the players and fans, are still eager for more. Several reinforcements were brought in during the transfer period, and the additions of Aurelien Tchouameni and Antonio Rudiger are starting to yield fruit.

Rodrygo and Fede Valverde are gearing up for their finest individual seasons, while Vinicius Jr, Luka Modric, Toni Kroos, and others maintain the momentum that brought them silverware last season.

There does not appear to be a major issue with the team at the present, as the lone concern regarding a backup striker that existed a few weeks ago is gradually dissipating. The group appears to have plenty of scoring depth and is upbeat and ready to face any challenge.

Apart from a sporting viewpoint, what distinguishes Real Madrid from the other teams on this list is the sheer mentality and will to win at any cost. The Madrid DNA plays a bigger role in shaping the way the wind blows than any other tactics out there and none can equal that.

That’s all there is to it: Real Madrid is the overwhelming favourite to win the Champions League for the fifteenth time.
