Real Madrid vs Atletico Madrid was expected to be a tight game and that is what it turned out to be. It was looking like Los Blancos were set to run away with it, after they took a 2-0 lead in the first half but then, Diego Simeone’s side would get a goal back through Mario Hermoso after the break. Fortunately, they could not find another and Carlo Ancelotti’s side held on for the win and all three points.

A lot was made of Vinicius Jr coming into the game and whether he would break out his dancing celebrations. He did not find his name on the scoresheet on this occasion, but his Brazilian teammate, Rodrygo, did.

That was enough for the duo to celebrate by dancing and unfortunately, the Atletico Madrid fans did not take too kindly to that.

As reported by the Express, Atletico Madrid fans threw objects at Real Madrid duo Vinicius Jr and Rodrygo as the pair celebrated Los Blancos’ first goal of the game.

It looks like this game will make a lot of headlines for all the wrong reasons but if you take them out of it, it was truly a fascinating game of football without a shadow of a doubt between two of the best teams in Spain, no matter what the table says as of now.

Also Real Madrid deserve tremendous credit for their incredible start to the season. With nine games gone, they have remained perfect and won all of them.

Not many people would have expected that, considering the number of question marks that there have been regarding their lack of squad depth and also injury to key players as well. But like always, Ancelotti’s men have found a way to win.
