Next summer is already setting up to be one which will be dominated by the transfer race to sign Jude Bellingham from Borussia Dortmund and it looks like Real Madrid will very much be in the middle of it. Rumours have suggested that Los Blancos see the English midfielder as their next Galactico signing.

Real Madrid already have an incredible midfield consisting of legends like Luka Modric and Toni Kroos, who are still playing at a very high level, and youngsters like Federico Valverde, Eduardo Camavinga and Aurelien Tchouameni, all of whom are showing world-class potential.

Adding someone like Bellingham to that mix could be incredible. At 19 years of age, the Englishman is already one of the best players in the Bundesliga and has proven himself at the Champions League level time and again. It would be an understatement to describe him as a ‘prodigy’.

But the race for his signature is not going to be easy, with the likes of Liverpool, Manchester United, Manchester City and Chelsea also expected to be in the running to sign him. But it looks like Real Madrid have been handed a Bellingham transfer boost.

As reported by Marca, Jose Alvarez Haya reports on the program ‘El Chiringuito‘ presented by Josep Pedrerol that Bellingham wants to play for Real Madrid.

Of course, that is a boost for Real Madrid. Many people had felt that the Englishman would be more attracted to a move to the Premier League but it looks like he has Real Madrid in his sights as well.

It must be pointed out that this does not mean that he does not want to play for an English club and the race is very much open to sign him. But it means that Los Blancos are in the middle of it for sure.
