Real Madrid have had an incredible time when it comes to signing players from Brazil in recent years. The two best examples are Vinicius Junior and Rodrygo. Both of them arrived at Santiago Bernabeu as youngsters with raw potential and have developed into first-team stars.

Gomes is 21 years of age and currently plays as a defensive midfielder for Flamengo and has been able to impress recently.

Real Madrid suffered a blow in that area in the summer when Casemiro left in order to join Manchester United.
