Real Madrid make huge Kylian Mbappe transfer decision

When Kylian Mbappe arrived at Santiago Bernabeu to represent PSG in the Champions League against Real Madrid, he was given a hero’s welcome by some of the home fans, who believed that it was only a matter of time before they would get to see the Frenchman don the white of Los Blancos.

At that point, his contract was set to run out with PSG and he had not extended it yet. Many believed that that pointed towards a free transfer to Real Madrid in the summer and solidifying himself as the next global superstar of the game.

Well, that did not happen, and Mbappe decided to sign an extension with PSG, after being handed a mega contract by the French club. Just months later though, the links with Real Madrid are back on again as rumours suggest that it was only a two-year deal with the player having the option to activate the third one. Thus, could a move to Santiago Bernabeu be back on for the World Cup winner?

As reported by El Debate, Real Madrid will never make another offer to Mbappe. The European champions have closed that door simply because they feel betrayed.

If that is indeed the case then it is certainly a big decision on the part of Real Madrid, because Mbappe is without doubt one of the best players in the world.

But then at the same time, one has to wonder whether Los Blancos even need him anymore with the kind of football that Vinicius Jr is playing at the moment.

Another problem would be the salary that he is currently receiving at PSG and matching it would be very very difficult for even a club like Real Madrid. Let’s see what the future holds though.
