2. Marco Asensio will have a major turnaround

Marco Asensio has had a rough time at Real Madrid in recent seasons, and the Spaniard’s predicament is heartbreaking. Not long ago, there were talks about Asensio becoming the next big thing, but fate had other plans for the winger.

Over the previous two seasons, the player’s significance in the squad has dwindled with each terrible game from his foot and each fantastic performance from the other players at his position. Asensio, who was once a key player, is now a forgotten bench guy that no one seems to notice.

His game has significantly degraded, and others like as Rodrygo and Fede Valverde have surpassed him in the pecking order. The hatred directed against the 26-year-old, on the other hand, is uninvited. It is completely unreasonable for fans to be so harsh towards the player at times.

The opinion on Asensio is mixed, with some believing he is past his peak and others hoping he will have a significant turnaround in Madrid. In October, Asensio will have multiple opportunities to capitalize on, since this may be his final opportunity at reviving himself and earning the renewal he did not leave in hopes of.

The calendar for the players who have returned from their respective national team will be quite rigorous this month, and with multiple big games in the following days, sufficient rest and rotation will be required to guarantee no cracks for injuries to creep in.

Real Madrid will play 9 games in one month, and with a greater number of games, Ancelotti will have to rotate the squad against inferior opponents and give the big players some much-needed break. This may be the right moment for Asensio to reclaim a starting berth ahead of Rodrygo and Valverde, and if things go well, he will undoubtedly regenerate and grow out of the shadows.

There is no question that he still possesses that potential; it was simply subdued due to a lack of confidence and risk-taking aptitude. And, following a crucial call from the Spanish national team, Asensio may have recovered much-needed confidence, and there might be a significant reversal in terms of a few goals and assists from Asensio’s boots in October.
