Real Madrid have an incredible track record in recent times, when it comes to Brazilian players. The two perfect examples are Vinicius Junior and Rodrygo. Both had been signed based on their raw potential. Of course, it was a risky move to invest so significantly on youngsters who had not really proven themselves at the senior level.

Well, it is safe to say that the risk has paid off for Real Madrid. Vinicius has developed into one of the best players in the world and it would not be a surprise to see him on the Ballon d’Or podium this year.

On the other hand, Rodrygo appears to be having a breakout season himself and could be on the verge of establishing himself as a regular starter for Real Madrid. Thus, the Brazilian duo could be ever present on Los Blancos’ wing for the next decade or so.

Another Brazilian youngster that Real Madrid have high hopes from is Reinier Jesus. The club were believed to have shelled out a transfer fee in the region of €30 million to sign him from Flamengo. Till now, it has not quite worked out but he had made a bright start to the campaign on loan at Girona. Things have gone off the track once again though.

As reported by Mundo Deportivo, Reinier has suffered an injury to the femoral biceps of his right leg and is expected to be out for four or five weeks.

One can only hope that Reinier is back fit and available as soon as possible as he was having a very positive campaign.

Hopefully, this injury will not end up hurting the Real Madrid youngster’s momentum and he will be able to pick up right where he had left off.
