One player that Real Madrid appear to have in their sights is Jude Bellingham of Borussia Dortmund. It is not hard to see why because the English international is a supreme talent. He might be just 19 years of age but he has already established himself as one of the best players in the Bundesliga and proven himself at the Champions League level as well.

Naturally, there are a lot of other clubs believed to be in the transfer race to sign Bellingham from Borussia Dortmund as well, with it appearing that he could be on the move next summer.

It is unclear what kind of a transfer fee it would take to sign Bellingham and the figure could be anything in the range of €100 million to €150 million. Ultimately, it would be one of the biggest transfers in history and might even need Real Madrid to shatter their club record.

But they appear to have been handed a blow in the race to sign the midfield prodigy. As reported by The Telegraph (via GOAL), Liverpool are “confident” that they can win the race for Bellingham. Chelsea are also said to be keen on the midfielder but those at Anfield believe positive talks behind the scenes will see them secure the prized signature of the Englishman.
