And fortunately, none of those problems have been long-term. Now though, it looks like Los Blancos have a serious injury to be worried about.

The player in question is none other than Dani Ceballos. While he is not a starter for Real Madrid, he is without doubt a key player for the team nonetheless.

As tweeted out by Relevo, the feeling about Ceballos’ hamstring injury are not positive and it will prevent him from reappearing until after the World Cup. This Thursday he will undergo an MRI.

Real Madrid star seems to have suffered a serious injury and looks set to be out for months

Ceballos being out for a considerable length of time is bad news for Real Madrid and their cover in the middle of the park.

Ceballos might not be a starter for the club but he definitely is able to come in and fill in a lot of gaps late on in games. Many fans even feel that he deserves to start more often.

Real Madrid’s midfield is stacked even without him, with the likes of Modric, Toni Kroos, Aurelien Tchouameni, Eduardo Camavinga and Federico Valverde. Thus, they will definitely be able to cope without Ceballos. But another injury to a midfielder will definitely leave them stretched in the middle of the park.

It must also be pointed out that Modric is set to return from his own injury and might take some time to find his rhythm.
