2. Shape other players in a more attack-oriented mould

While Erling Haaland may be attracted by several teams with extremely lucrative offers, he has almost no reason to leave Manchester City right now. Obviously, if the player contemplates leaving City, he will seek an elevation rather than a drop, which will begin with an inspection of the players on the team in consideration and their talents.

At City, Haaland has men like Kevin De Bruyne, Bernardo Silva, and Phil Foden who literally feed him all the right plays from the midfield and full backs like Joao Cancelo and Kyle Walker who are extremely attack geared and provide him with all the gears he needs to score on a constant basis. Haaland will need some very compelling reasons to quit a club like that and relocate and settle someplace with a different collection of players.

This in no way implies that Real has inferior players. Toni Kroos, Luka Modric, and Dani Carvajal are a few midfielders and full backs that are superior to the Man City squad but, despite their calibre, have a limited amount of time left until they retire.

The newer generation of players, such as Aurelien Tchouameni and Eduardo Camavinga, are fantastic players, but their style is mostly defensive, with offensive talents serving as a bonus and supplementary.

To get Haaland to play with these players, they must be made more attack-oriented. Fede Valverde may also be used in this situation, coming in from the wings to help Haaland in the playmaking area with his relentless running and shrewd play.

This is also a case where Ferland Mendy’s lack of offensive prowess is a detriment to Haaland’s preferences. Dani Carvajal, a terrific crosser, may also drop down in the future years, necessitating more adaptable full backs on either flank.

However, whether making changes to the entire team’s playing style for one individual is viable remains to be seen.
