Real Madrid have been linked with a number of top players recently and Bundesliga seems to be a particular point of interest. RB Leipzig’s Christopher Nkunku was rumoured to be a target but now, it appears that he might be destined for a move to Chelsea. On the other hand, it looks like Los Blancos will have some tough competition on their hands to sign Jude Bellingham from Borussia Dortmund as well.

Bellingham is arguably the hottest talent in the Bundesliga right now. At 19 years of age, he has already established himself as one of the best players in the German league and is already captaining a team the size of Borussia Dortmund.

Thus, other than Real Madrid, the likes of Liverpool, Chelsea, Manchester United and Manchester City have also been linked with a potential move for Bellingham next summer. And these clubs have been handed a major boost in this regard.

As reported by BILD, behind the scenes, hardly anyone believes that Borussia Dortmund can keep Bellingham beyond next summer. A departure is more likely and top clubs are already queuing.

Thus, it looks like there is an expectation that Bellingham will be on his way out of Borussia Dortmund next summer.

It is expected to take a big transfer fee to sign him though. Rumours have suggested that the figure can range from anything between €100 million to €150 million.

While that is a huge transfer fee to shell out to sign any player, someone like Bellingham could actually be worth it in the current transfer market. At 19 years of age, he is already an elite midfielder and could be competing for Ballon d’Or awards in the future if he does end up at the right club after leaving Borussia Dortmund.
