The name of Kylian Mbappe does not stay out of the headlines for long and the Frenchman is once again being linked with a potential move to Real Madrid. We have already been through this saga once, when it was only considered a matter of time before the Frenchman arrived in the Spanish capital on a free transfer.

He was given a hero’s welcome by Real Madrid fans, when he played at the Santiago Bernabeu for PSG last season. Back then, the feeling was that Los Blancos were getting an early look at the next face of their team, before he made the move in the summer.

Instead, Mbappe would end up extending his stint at PSG and agreed a bumper new deal. It has not taken long for his future to be in question once again though as just months later, it looks like he wants to leave the club.

Naturally, the name of Real Madrid has cropped up in the media as a potential destination for the Frenchman. Would Los Blancos make another move though, after being let down in the summer?

As reported by RMC Sport, Ancelotti told Canal+ regarding the matter:

"“You have the courage to ask that.“I do not answer. I am not obliged to answer.”"

Thus, it will be very interesting to see what the future holds for Mbappe and it is worth noting that Ancelotti did not completely rule out the possibility of a move taking place.

There will be a lot of factors involved in this though and the biggest might be the fact that the relationship between PSG and Real Madrid is not thought to be great. Thus, it feels unlikely that they would let their star player join the European champions.

And it would definitely take a huge offer from any club to sign the Frenchman who still has a few years left on his current deal with PSG.
