Paris Saint-Germain interested in Real Madrid youngster
The relationship between Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid is believed to have been strained since the Kylian Mbappe saga The last transfer between the two teams occurred when Keylor Navas joined the French giants, with Alphonse Areola, arriving on loan at Santiago Bernabeu.
PSG is believed to be unhappy with Los Blancos for how the entire Mbappe saga turned out in the summer, and their stance toward Los Merengues is rumoured to be negative.
Another source of friction between the two European titans seems to have been the failed project that was the European Super League, which Nasser Al-Khelaifi strongly opposed.
Recent developments, however, suggest that a Real Madrid player may have aroused some transfer interest in the French capital.
Real Madrid Castilla youngster is being eyed by Paris Saint-Germain
As reported by Marca, Paris Saint-Germain have an eye on Castilla defender Rafa Marin, who has been a standout at the youth level for Real Madrid.
Marin is one of the promising youngsters relied on by Real Madrid, along with Sergio Arribas, Antonio Blanco, and others at the youth level. The French club, on the other hand, is enticed by the defender’s profile. His physicality and temperament is impressive, which is why they consider him as a solution to their squad’s defensive problems on the long term.
While Marin is always believed to have prioritized Real Madrid as the place where he wants to create his future, he is said to be pleased by PSG’s attention as well.
Marin’s Real Madrid contract expires in 2024, and there is believed to be a €30 million release clause in it, which is not a large figure for a team as financially supported as PSG are. Despite the interest, it should be remembered that initiating discussions between the two clubs, who don’t seem to get along very well these days, will make any potential move extremely difficult and not as easy as it seems to be on paper.
