Real Madrid have a brilliant squad at the moment, and that is pretty evident from the fact that they have not lost this season till now and we are approaching the end of October. Yet, it is a squad that won’t be in place for many more years with the likes of Karim Benzema and Luka Modric getting up there in age, while rumours swirl around a potential retirement for Toni Kroos. There are several other players who could leave soon as well.
Thus, Real Madrid need to bring in some new players in the coming years and one that they have been linked with is just 17, but already playing first-team football for Borussia Dortmund and making an impact.
Youssoufa Moukoko made a name for himself by putting up big numbers at the youth level and while he has not hit that kind of form in senior football, he has been able to notch up more than 50 appearances at a club like Borussia Dortmund at just 17 years of age.
He has proven to be a big game player as well, with goals this season against the likes of Bayern Munich and Schalke. So remember the name.
Liverpool are leading the race to sign Real Madrid target
As reported by SPORT, Liverpool may be best placed to sign Moukoko with Jurgen Klopp as their coach. Barcelona, Real Madrid and PSG are also said to be interested in the youngster though.
Moukoko is a centre forward. According to stats from Transfermarkt, in 10 Bundesliga appearances this season, he has 4 goals and 3 assists to his name.
It is not hard to see why some of the biggest clubs in the world are believed to be interested in Moukoko. Now, it remains to be seen if he ends up at Real Madrid or decides to go somewhere else.
